That's what you will hear around these parts of the country this evening. A buzz carried throughout the air from the many voices of the gathered crowds leaving tonight's political events which wrapped up at around 7:30 pm in Hedgesville, WV.

This sleepy, little, rural community of Hedgesville was the next stop for President George W. Bush to rally for votes.

Hedgesville High School hosted the Republican National Committee Victory '04 Rally on Tuesday, August 17, 2004. An accounting of the festivities will be posted shortly, in journal style, for those who may not have made it to the events and would like to hear more of what took place. Images of the rally will be posted and guests of the Rally and Counter- Demonstration are urged to send their photos of the day to photos@hedgesville.net for consideration and selection then posting to our gallery. For those wishing to submit their images, quotes or stories, please include your name and town in your email so that you may be given credit. Updates to the site will be made many times a day over the next couple of weeks, so please check back frequently in order to get the full story.

Until now, nothing had been formally designed specifically for Hedgesville area residents to take part in showing our great town online! Be proud Hedgesville! Ten thousand tickets to the Rally were distributed and tonight many thousands of visitors attended. So we know there are many sources of interesting and informative submissions. Although local residents have divided feelings as to which Presidential candidate is the best choice for the upcoming elections this Fall, one thing is clear. When the President of the United States comes to your town it sure does cause quite a stir.
